Episodes of communal violence erupted once again in Darfur on a large scale on the eve of New Year 2020. The violence sparked from small incident between two people, one from Masalit tribe, and an Arab who was stabbed to death. The incident quickly erupted into large-scale burning of villages and humans in their dwellings, in displaced persons’ camps near El-Geneina city, West Darfur province.
